What approach have listeners taken to income in retirement?

As final salary pensions disappear, more and more of us will need to take responsibility for our own retirement savings. Andy Haldane, Chief Economist at the Bank of England recently admitted that the best way to save for retirement "ought to be a pension, but it's almost certainly property".

So what's your approach to retirement income? Have the increased options for using your private pension pot influenced your decision?
