At St Stephen's, Peggy and Jill reflect on their families and long history, taking comfort in the organ music. Jill rather guiltily mentions the importance of listening to others' good advice and Peggy feels that it's good to own up when you're wrong. Jill also admits that when she looks up at Grace's memorial window, part of her wants to put a brick through it. Peggy jokes that they could - and no one would suspect it was them.

Shula introduces Lilian to Anisha, and they set out for a ride with other horse women. One of them, Delia, takes a fall over a fence and Anisha takes great care in tending to the horse. Both rider and horse are fine, and Shula is adamant that this incident doesn't spoil Anisha's day or prevent her from seeing more of Borsetshire.

Justin calls Lilian from his secret mobile to reassure her that Rob is definitely out of the picture. He also insists that they won't be seeing any more of Stefan. He has to hang up, however, as Miranda is nearby. Justin spreads the news to Brian that Rob's left Damara after getting a better offer. Brian says a lot of people will be interested to hear that, not least his brother-in-law's family. Justin's happy for Brian to tell anyone he likes that Rob has gone.
