Chrissie Hynde

Mark Radcliffe presents solo and is joined by The Pretenders' Chrissie Hynde.

Mark Radcliffe is joined by guest, The Pretenders' Chrissie Hynde. Inspired by hippie counter-culture, she worked in London with Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne Westwood at their punk-themed clothing store, SEX in London. In 1978 she formed her own band, The Pretenders, with Pete Farndon, James Honeyman-Scott and Martin Chambers. As singer, songwriter and guitarist, she has been the only constant member of the band throughout its history. They recently released their tenth album Alone. It was produced by Black Keys' Dan Auerbach and is now the subject of a Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Four documentary called Arena: Alone With Chrissie Hynde. She's also written a memoir entitled Reckless and released her debut solo album Stockholm in 2014.

As well as that, you can try and actually BE on the show by suggesting a track that's not yet been on long-running show feature The Chain OR pit your wits against the rest of the office/listening stronghold by trying to be first to guess the link between the three records in Teatime Themetime.
