More about the programme
Traditionally used by some in the Yemeni and Somali communities in the UK, khat is a leafy plant that has a stimulatory effect when chewed.
听
Back in 2012, Eye on Wales visited Butetown in Cardiff to canvas the opinions of community leaders and users on calls to classify khat under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
听
The drug was subsequently outlawed in 2014 and this week presenter Selma Chalabi returns to the streets of the capital to find out what impact the ban has had.
