Katie Puckrik sits in and is joined by St Etienne's Sarah Cracknell

Katie Puckrik sits in for Radcliffe and Maconie and is joined by St Etienne's Sarah Cracknell for a special look back at 1994.

Katie Puckrik stands in for Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie, looking back at the year 1994. Katie says, '1994 was an auspicious year for me, because it was the first time Glastonbury was ever televised. It was on Channel 4, called "4 Goes to Glastonbury", and Mark Radcliffe, Marc Riley and I were the main live presenters. Mark Kermode also was involved, and believe it or not, Stella McCartney (pre fashion fame) was reeled in to be a "girl in the field". I was on a roll that summer, because I also was a presenter for MTV US's coverage of the 25th anniversary of Woodstock!'. She's joined by lead singer of 90s band St Etienne Sarah Cracknell and there'll be a special retro edition of Music News too.

So, join Katie for a special look-back at the musical events that happened that year, along with a year-specific The Chain (where YOU suggest the next link in the never-ending conjoined list of never-repated records, apart from THIS one has to records be from 1994 or before!) and WHAT will the link be in the three records in Teatime Themetime? And no....it won't be as simple as 'all the records are from 1994'.... So get yer best smudgy eyeliner on and grunge/pop/rock your way through from 1-4pm!
