Foyle College in Londonderry is celebrating the 400th anniversary of its foundation by a member of the London Merchant Tailors' Company in 1617, the same year as the city's walls were completed. Since then it has had various names, different locations and has seen amalgamations with other schools. The preacher at this service from St Columb's Cathedral in Londonderry to commemorate the anniversary is the Right Rev Lord Eames, OM, former chairman of the Board of Governors. Representatives from the main churches will lead the prayers and the hymns include 'All People That in Earth Do Dwell', 'Be Thou My Vision and Thy Hand' and 'O God Has Guided'.
