6Music Festival Highlights

Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie have 6 Music Festival highlights, including Stuart's onstage chat with Edwyn Collins.

Mark Radcliffe & Stuart Maconie: with all your post-festival round-up needs! With musical highlights, and Edwyn Collins in conversation with Stuart Maconie, recorded live at the 6Music Festival.

Fresh from gadding about at this year's 6Music Festival in Glasgow, Mark and Stuart present to you some of the finest highlights from their Scottish-based weekend, including Stuart's onstage chat with Edwyn Collins. Edwyn was the lead singer and co-founder of 80s post-punk band Orange Juice on Postcard Records. Following the group's split in 1985, he started a solo career, and his 1994 single A Girl Like You was a worldwide hit. In February 2005, he was hospitalized following two brain hemorrhages, and he subsequently underwent a months-long rehabilitation period. Fortunately Edwyn was able to resume his musical career in 2007; he won an Ivor Novello Award (The Ivor Inspiration Award) in 2009, and a documentary film on his recovery (The Possibilities are endless) was released in 2014. He chatted to Stuart Maconie at last weekend's 6Music Festival in Glasgow, and you can hear the highlights of their conversation here.

Plus all the top live musical highlights taken from the 2017 6Music Festival from Glasgow.
