Episode 4
Angus Deayton hosts the search for Britain's best team of pastry chefs. The teams must finely craft two batches of perfectly uniform miniatures - 36 fraisiers and 36 verrines.
Hosted by Angus Deayton, the toughest bake off on television welcomes five new teams who, over the next three heats, battle it out for the last two semi-final places.
Once again, judges Cherish Finden and Benoit Blin set a pair of exceedingly tricky challenges, the first of which requires the teams to finely craft two batches of perfectly uniform miniatures - 36 fraisiers and 36 verrines - in just two and a half hours.
For the final challenge - the showpiece - the teams are required to reinvent a classic dessert over four hours. This time, it is the pavlova, the iconic dish inspired by a legendary ballerina, which see the teams strive to create meringue-based masterpieces, as elegant as they are delicious.
But at the end of the two days, who will win enough points to progress to the next heat and which team must deal with the disappointment of exiting the competition at this early stage?
