Should your children have 'gender-neutral uniforms'? An LGBT charity Educate and Celebrate claims at least 120 schools across the UK now have that very policy in place. This comes as another London school considers the move which would allow boys to wear skirts! Highgate School consulted parents on whether to allow gender-neutral uniforms, boys and girls to choose between skirts and trousers and other measures like unisex toilets and addressing all students as "pupils" rather than girls and boys.

Nurses are threatening a summer of protest over pay. The pledge was made at the Royal College of Nursing conference in Liverpool. Moors Murderer Ian Brady has died. He tortured and killed five children with Myra Hindley. Four of his victims were buried in graves on Saddleworth Moor. Yesterday marked 40 years since one of the most high-profile murders of the Troubles. Captain Robert Nairac was murdered by the IRA when he was on an undercover operation in south Armagh in 1977.
