Life for the Coffey family was tough; their father and son paving business was bringing in little money, and Mrs Coffey and her daughters lived on government handouts. But, as Matt discovers when he meets fraud investigators, this little setup was hiding a wealth of property, unpaid tax and fraudulent benefit claims.
And we meet Jack who, while struggling to care for his wife at their home, was given the green light for a grant to adapt their home to make life easier. But when his beloved wife died, Jack was left with little financial support and the grant was withdrawn. Can the charity which came to his rescue once before be there to help him in his time of need?
