Tha Niall Iain Domhnallach agus Calum MacAmhlaigh air an uisge 's iad a' siubhail air a' Chan脿l Foirthe agus Cluaidh. Tha iad fh猫in a' faighinn gr猫im air an sti霉ir air a' bh脿irdse aca fh猫in, an Lochan Ora, agus tha iad a' d猫anamh thar meadhan na h-Alba. Tha Niall Iain a' coinneachadh ri Ruaridh Greumach bho 脌rainneachd Eachdraidh Alba gus ionnsachadh mu shlighe nas sine thar na d霉thcha - Balla Antonine. Chaidh a thogail leis na R貌manaich bho chionn 2000 bliadhna, agus tha e ri taobh p脿irtean m貌ra dhen chan脿il.
Tha barrachd 霉idh aig Calum ann a bhith a' cur e貌las air mar a bhithear a' cumail a' chan脿l glan bho sgudal, agus tha e a' dol air b脿ta dreideireachd airson an latha. Tha na balaich a' lorg a h-uile se貌rsa rud anns a' chan脿l, ciste-thasgaidh fi霉! Aig Cnoc Moire tha iad a' faighinn taic bho luchd-obrach saor-thoileach gus Ceuman Neptune a dh矛readh - far am bi Red Bull a' cur air d貌igh r猫is cian-fhulaing gach bliadhna! As deidh dhaibh sin fhaicinn, tha iad a' feuchainn air bordadh a' mharbh-srutha - chan eil e cho furasta 'sa bha iad an d霉il.
Niall Iain Macdonald and Calum Macaulay take to the water as they explore the Forth and Clyde Canal. They take the tiller of their own barge, the Lochan Ora, and navigate their way across central Scotland. Niall meets Ruaridh Graham of Historic Scotland to learn about the Antonine Wall - built by the Romans 2,000 years ago, it sits alongside much of the canal.
Calum is more interested in how they keep the canals free of debris, and joins a dredger for the day. At Maryhill they are assisted by volunteer lock keepers as they ascend Neptune's Steps, where Red Bull hosts an annual endurance race. Finally, the boys decide to have a go at wakeboarding on the canal, which they discover is not as easy as it looks.
