The government considers its options after the Stormont talks are suspended.

It hasn't come as much of a surprise that it will be months before any deal on restoring power-sharing at Stormont is likely to take shape. Talks ended yesterday without any agreement and have now been suspended. The DUP leader Arlene Foster said she is prepared to hold discussions over the summer in an effort to find a solution.
