Action from day four. Can former ballet dancer Sophie Hitchon become Britain's first hammer thrower, male or female, to earn a podium finish at a World Championships?

Another compelling night of athletics gets underway in the London Stadium as Gabby Logan introduces the action on day four of the World Championships.

Former ballet dancer Sophie Hitchon made history last summer by becoming the first British woman to win an Olympic medal in the hammer throw. Can she now nail another milestone by becoming the nation's first hammer thrower, male or female, to earn a podium finish at a World Championships?

The early track events include the semi-finals of the men's 400m hurdles, the opening round of the women's equivalent and the men's 200m heats, featuring British trio Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake, Danny Talbot and Zharnel Hughes.

The commentary team is led by Steve Cram, Andrew Cotter and Steve Backley. Ore Oduba provides reports alongside Phil Jones.
