World-renowned piper Bob Worrall provides commentary, as the very best pipe bands from across the world compete for the most prestigious title in the pipe band competition calendar. With highlights from the Grade One finals, including pieces from the March, Strathspey and Reel, and Medley categories feature in this very special programme. In addition to a wealth of brilliant performances, we hear from some of the world's top pipe majors, take a look back at the last 70 years of the competition, and enjoy the emotional moment when this year's band is announced as World Pipe Band Champion 2017.
