Stuart Maconie: watering musical flowers in the garden of pop. He's joined today by our resident musicologist and ex-The Long Ryders frontman Sid Griffin, whose topic today is the changing world of gig-going. From rock concerts now including an 'Automatic Encore', to being able to enjoy a range of snacks at your seat - and the ability to refresh your entire wardrobe from the merchandise stand - Sid's seen gigs evolve from his early days in Kentucky to taking his daughter to Miley Cyrus gigs and will be here to describe his experiences in his own inimitable way.

As well as Sid's enthusing about the music scene, there as still those hardy perennial show features that are still blooming: The Chain - you get to suggest the next track, connected any way you like to the one before it - and Tea Time Theme Time, the end-of-show tracks linked to one another, but how?
