Simon Wrigley had never known his grandfather and always wanted to find out more about him. The death of his grandmother inspired Simon to do some family history research, which then led to him discovering a whole family he never knew about on his home turf of the Isle of Wight - including his cousins Hayley and Jayne. Simon and his partner Yuval return from their current home in Israel to visit Simon's grandfather's grave and attend a family reunion with his new-found relatives. And Simon presents the latest version of the book he has compiled about their shared family history.

Lynn Lewis discovered that her parents had had a baby boy together when they were just teenagers and had given him up for adoption. Lynn became determined to find her half-brother Dave and after years of searching by herself, was finally given an address for him by an adoption agency. She wrote to Dave and they met up soon after, only to discover they had grown up not far apart. Dave met his mum before she died, but has never met his father as he died when aged just 39. Today, Lynn and Dave meet their Aunty Beryl, their dad's sister, so Dave can find out more about their father.
