Names Carved in Stone
A new book has been published about church life and life in Armagh during WW1.聽 In the Mall Presbyterian Church the names of the men and women, who served in the First World War, are carved in stone on the war memorial inside the building. Anne Marie talks to the author, Fiona Berry, who knows the history inside out.聽
Quilts for Advent Exhibition
The first two weeks of December features an exhibition of quilts depicting the Christmas story made by talented Antrim women who love the tradition. It will be held in St Cedma鈥檚 Church in Larne and festive afternoon teas will be available.聽
Underneath The Dunes
The protected dunes at Portstewart are the oldest and highest in Ireland, reaching thirty metres in height. Anne Marie went along to meet Paul Wilson, Hydrogeologist and Kyle Hunter from NIEA about what goes on underneath the Strand using incredible techniques to monitor ground water and protect the ancient dunes.聽
