Just a few days ago, a boat with 19 Ukrainians was seized by the authorities and the crew was arrested on suspicion of people smuggling in Southwold, in Suffolk. Just one case in many where the route is Holland to the east coast of England. Described as a smugglers' paradise, it has hundreds of miles of isolated coastline.

Inside Out investigates the case of another boat which was used for people smuggling, and finds that the authorities have failed to collect what could be vital information in the fight against people smuggling. We have traced its former owner in Holland who met the people smugglers and ask why the authorities have failed to speak to him.
