No go for Greenway

A primary school principal tells us that it is costing an extra 拢10,000 a year to bus children to school because funding for a new greenway has not been rubber-stamped by Stormont.

One primary school principal tells us that it's costing an extra ten thousand pounds a year to bus children to school - simply because funding for a new greenway hasn't been rubber stamped by politicians. Ebrington Primary School is spending the extra money because the Clooney Greenway - a key part of Stormont's 'Clooney Masterplan' - remains closed. If completed it would allow children from Kilfennan and surrounding pupils to walk and cycle safely to school - both Ebrington Primary and the new Foyle College.
