The Woodland Trust have awarded Peter Lyons for his outstanding volunteer work across the provinces, thousands of artifacts from one of the most significant excavated medieval settlements in the world and the Tobermore Scribblers have just published their first booklet.

Woodland Trust volunteer, Peter Lyons from Bangor has just received a prestigious Points of Light Award for all the hard work he's done at forests right across the province. He's been instrumental in transforming the land into a space where people from the local community can engage with the environment and learn about sustainability through the guided walks he provides.
Irish Words of Wisdom
Described as a gift-book and told through words and pictures, Kate Hamilton has compiled a book inspired and dedicated to the memory of her father who had a saying for every situation, a line and a poem. The gift-book represents all of the wonderful words from people she has met over the years.聽
Five Roads Writers
Kilcronaghan Activity and Conference Centre was once an 18th century rectory set in the beautiful countryside at the foot of the Sperrins. It's been restored and they now run a creative writing course and Helen Mark went along to meet the Five Roads Writers group about their recently published booklet called Scribbles.聽
