12/02/2018 - 'And I've never played pass the parcel, either'

Flo remembers the youth club of 60 years ago, where postman's knock was played. Sean feels he has missed out.

Flo remembers the youth club of 60 years ago, where Postman's Knock was played. Sean feels he has missed out. The snow meant that Sean had to abandon his car in the care of former footballer Ivan Parke and walk in to the station using rubber grips on his shoes. A request comes in for a cafe in Annalong from the customer who orders the soup. Sean would eat chowder every day of the week and twice on a Sunday. Sarah corrects Sean for saying 'apple cake' when it should be 'apple pie'. Jackie in Belfast says it's 'apple tart'. Joan in Glengormley found her wedding ring that she thought she'd lost last week. It was in a wee net bag that she was just about to throw in the bin. Sean listened to the radio all day yesterday and made notes about each show. He thinks he needs to get out and make snowballs. Music from BeeGees, Christine McVie & Lindsey Buckingham, Jimmy Nail, Love Affair, Mark Knopfler and more.
