The Ambulance Service is told to clean up its act after a watchdog report.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service is being placed on what's called "special measures" amid concerns about standards of cleanliness. It follows unannounced inspections by the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority of ambulance stations and vehicles. In some cases blood-splattered equipment was discovered and the insides of some ambulances were found to be dirty.
