Stationed at Castle Archdale in Fermanagh during WW2 - home-ground for Frankie and Rita. They trained as WAAFs over seventy years ago and speak very fondly of their time stationed together in the same huts.聽

Special celebrations are being held this weekend at Castle Archdale to mark 100 years of the RAF. It played such an important role in WW2 as a base for flying boats, which protected the ships in the聽Atlantic from聽German聽U-boats.聽
