The Rend Collective and 5 Live's Rachael Bland join Kate and Jason.

5 Live's Rachael Bland tells Kate and Jason about her podcast that chronicles her cancer treatment, plus the Rend Collective on the stories behind their music.

Originally from Bangor in Northern Ireland the Rend Collective are well known on the Christian music scene for their experimental blend of folk, rock and worship sounds. Their recent song' 'Counting Every Blessing' was written in response to one of the band member's experience of depression. As they tell Kate, they wanted to remind themselves about all the good things they do have and that they can always count on God to support them.

And the 5 Live broadcaster Rachael Bland explains why she teamed up with Deborah James and Lauren Mahon to create a powerful podcast about their cancer diagnosis. You, Me and The Big C is a warts and all look at the disease and how they and the people around them deal with the highs and the lows of the treatment.
