The Pope In Dublin
More than half a million people are expected to arrive in Dublin over the course of the weekend to see Pope Francis at Phoenix Park. It's nearly 40 years since the last Papal Visit when Pope John Paul II visited Ireland in what was the first trip to Ireland. Over 2.5 million people attended events in Dublin, Drogheda, Limerick and Knock and his Holiness also gave a special mass for young people in Galway. Anne Marie speaks to two people who were there at that event, Ballymena woman Deirdre Donnelly and 麻豆官网首页入口 journalist Nuala McCann.
Wellbrook Beetling Mill
Anne Marie meets Sebastian Graham and Sophie Atkinson for a guided walk along the river at Wellbrook Beetling Mill in Cookstown, the home of Northern Ireland's last working water-powered mill. She finds out about the history of the Irwins and Leepers, how yarn was spun and why Wellbrook is so important in the history of linen.
St Patrick's Cross
Plans to erect a replica of St Patrick's Cross just yards from the patron Saint's grave in County Down have finally been given the go ahead after historic remains were previously discovered. Mike King, Heritage Manager with Newry, Mourne and Down District Council talks to Anne Marie about the planned August installation; the delays in the erection and the variety of artifacts uncovered - including a huge stone roof slate.
