Derry's Long Tower
Thanks to Carbon Dating, experts from Queens University have found that the ruin of a tower in Derry believed to have associations with the Great Siege of 1689 are in fact much older, 800 years at least, and built about the year 1200. The tower is thought to be Derry's legendary Long Tower that most historians have felt long destroyed.
The Wave Project
Anne Marie talks to Carla Magee about a project that is well established in the UK and now in Northern Ireland. The Wave Project is aimed at young people to help them reach their full potential and overcome depression, anxiety and bereavement through surfing in Portrush and Benone.聽
Ploughing Championships
Ronan Lundy goes to meet farmer Thomas Cochrane from Coleraine because he's just won the World Reversible Ploughing Championships. He's been ploughing furrows for the last 30 years and he's also the first person in Northern Ireland to have clinched the title.聽
