Mel Torme was one of the great song stylists of the 20th century - Cecile McLorin Salvant follows in his footsteps; and Sarah Eyden explores the writing of Denis King.

For some years in the 1950s and 60s Mel Torme had a highly significant collaboration with arranger Marty Paich. A new release celebrates a great partnership. Cecile McLorin Salvant gave up law for jazz thanks to Jean Francois Bonnel and reveals for remarkable talent on her new album. And Sarah Eyden explores the writing talents of pianist Denis King.
