Cathy MacDonald presents another chance to enjoy some of the successful performers from the Children’s Mod held earlier this year. The Mod returned to Dunoon for the first time since 2012 and the week got off to a great start with the children’s competitions. The singing began on Monday with young learners primarily to the fore while the following day, the competitions were aimed at native speakers. A selection of winners from both of these days will be shown, including the winners of the James C MacPhee medals and also the girl and boy who won the Comunn Gàidhealach silver medals - Anna Macleod and Finlay Maclennan - both of whom hail from Inverness.
