Impresario Sir Cameron Mackintosh celebrates the world of musicals with a selection of his favourite artists and recordings. This diverse cast includes Norman Wisdom, Judy Garland, Hugh Jackman, Julie Andrews and John Barrowman, and features highlights from many of the shows that inspired him to devote his life to musical theatre. These include Salad Days, Oklahoma, The Music Man, and Oliver! He also takes a look at the creative process behind the making of Les Miserables, as well as some of today鈥檚 latest wave of West End and Broadway hits including Hamilton, Six, and Dear Evan Hansen.

For almost 50 years Cameron Mackintosh has been producing more musicals than anyone else in history, including three of the longest-running shows of all time; Les Mis茅rables, The Phantom of the Opera and Cats. Joining this list of legendary titles is his co-production with Disney of Mary Poppins, which will be returning to London鈥檚 Prince Edward theatre this autumn having already broken box office records across the UK.
