JJ Chalmers presents highlights of the key moments from the 39th running of the London Marathon, which is one of the great days in British sport.

Great Britain鈥檚 Olympic legend Sir Mo Farah is targeting a first victory in the race in his home city, but faces stiff completion from world record holder Eliud Kipchoge. In the women鈥檚 event, a world-class field is headed by defending champion Vivian Cheruiyot and three-time winner Mary Keitany.

In the wheelchair events, Great Britain鈥檚 David Weir competes for the 20th time hoping to extend his record number of victories to nine, while Australia鈥檚 Madison de Rozario hopes for a second successive victory in the women鈥檚 event.

Over 40,000 runners take to the streets and we hear from some of them who all had their own special reason to run.
