In this episode we'll scour the chalk heaths of Buckinghamshire for strange new sounds with Hannah Peel and poet Will Burns. Daniel Wohl defies time and space; merging ancient techniques with futuristic electronic sounds, and we have a music from a very important album for now by Matthew Herbert.

Also in this programme, a Norfolk folk song as you've never heard it before in an interpretation for double bass, brand new music by Plaid, violinist Galya Bisengalieva reaches for her roots and turns her violin into a winged horse of Kazakh mythology, and we find out what happens when an accordion, a celtic harp, marimba, vibraphone and musical saw walk into a village chapel. Elizabeth Alker presents.
