Steve celebrates great Drum N Bass tracks in the latest edition of his Musical World Cup. DJ, radio presenter and legend of the genre Fabio is on hand to draw the fixtures. 16 tracks selected by the 6 Music listeners will go head to head across the week, to battle it out to see which track will be crowned the inaugural Drum 'n' Bass World Cup winner.
The world cup runs through till Friday, when 6 Music does drum ‘n’ bass, inspired by the legendary Metalheadz label turning 25. The label was established in 1994 by drum and bass pioneers Goldie, Kemistry and Storm. Across the day, 6 Music will be reflecting the roots and shoots of drum ‘n’ bass… it's sources, it's current status, and it’s future.
