The Search for Julie Reilly

Episode 2 of 3

This episode starts with the interrogation of the number one suspect. With no body, it takes all the detectives' skill to prove the case and charge their suspect.

With unparalleled and intimate access to Police Scotland’s Major Investigations Teams (MITs), this three-part series, filmed over the course of 18 months by Bafta-winning film-maker Matt Pinder, goes behind the scenes on some of the most complex murder and large-scale criminal investigations in Scotland.

Following on from the disappearance of Julie Reilly, episode two starts with the interrogation of the team’s number one suspect.

His interview leads to frustration for Julie’s family and the detectives. They need to gather more evidence to convict him, but without having found a body, it takes all their skill to prove the case and charge their suspect.
