John meets 81 year old Belfast man Billy Sholdis who has been leading scouts for 73 years who believes he would have never been on holiday if it wasn't for the scouts! Tom McFarland with Fil Campbell perform The Birds' Song, a tongue in cheek story about the problems of immigration. Caroline Curran is in studio along with Matthew Sharpe to talk about the production of "My Big Fat Christmas" and to pay tribute to her friend and co-writer Julie Maxwell. Silversmith Lesley Brown joins the programme from Glasgow after winning first prize in Kirstie's Handmade Christmas and Alicia Peyrano talks about the significance of toys in creating a lifetime of memories.
