Clive James reads volume two of his autobiography. 1962 sees his arrival in England by boat from Australia.

First published in 1985 and abridged by Brian Gear.

Known around the world for his dry wit, writer, broadcaster and poet Clive James was born in 1939. Moving to England in 1962, he rose to prominence as a literary critic and TV columnist. He went on to deliver wry commentary on international programming, most memorably in Clive James On Television.

Clive died aged 80 in November 2019.
