The Sixteen performs 16th-century Spanish polyphony by Alonso Lobo and Francisco Guerrero in York Minster, part of the 2015 York Early Music Festival. Presented by Adam Tomlinson.
Recorded at the 2015 York Early Music Festival, tonight's concert features The Sixteen directed by Harry Christophers, performing works by two Spanish Renaissance composers: Francisco Guerrero and Alonso Lobo, who flourished in the cosmopolitan surroundings of 16th-century Seville.
