Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Mich猫le Forbes is an award-winning theatre, television and film actress. Her first novel Ghost Moth was published in 2013 to great critical acclaim and Forbes was shortlisted for Newcomer of the Year at the Irish Book Awards, for First Book Award at the 2014 Edinburgh Festival and selected as one of The Observer鈥檚 Seven Debut Novels That Will Make A Splash in 2014. Her second novel Edith & Oliver was a Sunday Times Book of the Year. Her short stories have won both The Bryan MacMahon and The Michael Laverty Award. She lives in Dalkey, Dublin.
