Shay Sade sits in for Annie Mac to present her first ever Radio 1 show - a journey of musical discovery and recommendation.

Shay is one of Radio 1's Christmas Presenters for 2020 - a week of new presenting talent taking over the schedule. She first 鈥渢ook the plunge鈥� to get into presenting when she contacted Reprezent, who commissioned a show celebrating diverse music from across the globe.

She also hosts a weekly show on No Signal, focusing on music from across Africa and the diaspora. And since she began presenting in 2016, she鈥檚 interviewed talents such as Sampha, Smino, DJ Cuppy and Nao.

Outside of presenting, she regularly DJs and she鈥檚 a massive swimming enthusiast.

Shay presents Radio 1's Future Sounds on Mon 28th and Tues 29th December, 6-8pm.
