Peter starts to clear the ground and plans what to plant in spring with help from Tearlach. Tha Pàdruig a’tionndadh sa ghàrradh agus a’coimhead dè chuireas e as t-Earrach.

Gàrradh Phàdruig follows keen newbie gardener Peter MacQueen, as he sets about transforming his back garden in the heart of Glasgow from a messy, neglected disaster zone to productive - and aesthetically pleasing - outdoor space.

Firstly, Peter clears the ground, removing old rotten decks and the garden shed that is falling to bits. Tearlach Quinnell pops in to visit, and give advice on how best to plan a veg patch and work with the space available. Peter heads out in the boat near Oban with his dad and they collect seaweed to use as fertiliser. Soon most of the ground work is done, and the new sleepers are in position to form raised beds.

The series is filmed across a season, from January to October. Seòras the dog is with Peter all of the time - Westies love to get their paws dirty!
