Scéal úr faoi chás stairiúil dúnmharaithe, 50 bliain den GhaelscolaÃocht ó Thuaidh.
New light shed on a historic murder prosecution, 50 years of GaelscolaÃocht in the North.
Is é The Queen v Patrick O’Donnell an teideal atá ar leabhar úr agus ar fhadchlár faisnéise úr atá tagtha amach an samhradh seo, bunaithe ar chás inar crochadh fear as TÃr Chonaill i Londain in 1883 nuair a ciontaÃodh é as dúnmharú an bhrathadóra James Carey. Tá Seán Ó Cuirreáin, údar an leabhair agus léiritheoir ar scannáin, linn leis an scéal fÃorspéisiúil seo a mhÃniú. Mar chuid de Féile an Phobail reáchtálfar painéal cainte le 50 bliain den Ghaeoloideachas ó Thuaidh a cheiliúradh agus tá gach eolas ag Tarlach Mac Giolla BhrÃde ó Comhairle na GaelscolaÃochta dúinn. Fosta, tá an t-iriseoir Gearóid Ó Muilleoir linn le mórscéalta an lae a phlé.

Seán Ó Cuirreáin, author of the book and producer of the film, sheds new light on this fascinating history. As part of Féile an Phobail there will be a panel discussing 50 years of Irish-Medium Education in the North and Tarlach Mac Giolla BhrÃde from Comhairle na GaelscolaÃochta joins us with all the details.
