Ryan from Bolton, born with cerebral palsy, now has a full-time job and is finally moving out of his mum’s house and into a home of his own. At 28, Orala from London has also moved away from home, the ‘only place she ever saw life’ and risked it all on a change of career. Having tried and failed to stick it out at university the first time, Talan from Cornwall is battling to overcome depression as he returns to his studies for a second attempt. Cardiff-based Owen is enjoying life’s adventure with his long term-girlfriend and has realised his dreams of owning his own home and living a life ‘just like his parents’. The pandemic has given Hannah from Kent the push she needed to take make a big change in her life, and in New Mills, Stacey is starting a new chapter of her life following an eight-year journey teaching in China.
