Bob鈥檚 got his personal pick of the finest music, spanning this incredible decade.

We heard the sad news this week that Meat Loaf has passed away at the age of 74. Bob was right there, just feet away from the legendary performer, when he made his remarkable live UK TV debut on The Old Grey Whistle Test back in 1978. Bob was also the compere of his sold-out show at London鈥檚 Hammersmith Odeon around the same time, and has some wonderful memories to share. Plus we鈥檒l be hearing from loyal Sounds of the 70s listeners too, recalling the first time they were bowled over by the power of the peerless Bat Out Of Hell album.
