The Maccabees released their debut album "Colour It In" in 2007, quickly building a cult indie following. Their third record, 2012鈥檚 "Given To The Wild", received critical acclaim and its lead single "Pelican" was awarded a prestigious Ivor Novello Award.

Following the release of his new solo record "Hop Up", former frontman Orlando Weeks joins 6 Music to present his favourite indie bangers. With music from the likes of Interpol, Thom Yorke, Amen Dunes, Arcade Fire and a whole load more.
