Pianist Tom Poster reveals familiar and unfamiliar works in a new light, from the perfect phrasing of Ella Fitzgerald singing Cole Porter, to surprising childhood favourites.
Pianist Tom Poster rediscovers music from childhood, from the moreish sound of rackets (AKA sausage bassoons), to the only fugue Tom actually likes to listen to, in Britten鈥檚 Young Person鈥檚 Guide to the Orchestra.
Tom also explains that Faur茅鈥檚 music seems like it never really begins or ends, we just step into his sound world, and Tom also plays a track from his Kaleidoscope ensemble that features a fiendishly difficult piano part.
