Rap superstar Stormzy performs live at Maida Vale as Radio 2's Piano Room Month reaches its conclusion.

Hailing from Croydon in South East London, over the past decade Stormzy has enjoyed major success with hits including Big For Your Boots, Shut Up and Blinded By Your Grace as well as number one singles with Own It, Take Me Back to London and Vossi Bop, feat. Ed Sheeran.

Stormzy's 2017 debut album, Gang Signs & Prayer, became the first grime chart topper. He repeated that success with his 2019 follow up, Heavy is the Head. Stormzy's third album, This is What I Mean, released in November 2022, features guest appearances from artists including Sampha and Jacob Collier.

Hot on the heels of his triumphant performance at the recent Brit Awards, Stormzy's Piano Room set features all-new versions of Crown, Give it to the Water, feat. Debbie and his cover of Oleta Adams' soul classic Get Here, performed with the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Concert Orchestra.
