Craig catches up with Bill Curtis of The Fatback Band. They chat about drumming, old bandleaders of the 1950s, and how the group wrote the first rap record 'King Tim III'.

The legendary bandleader formed The Fatback Band in New York City in 1970, and they have since gone on to release over thirty five albums. Before this, Curtis was a session musician, performing with influential artists including Jackie Wilson, Marvin Gaye, King Curtis and more.
