'Play me! It's Tuesday! Play me!'
Sean explains to Mary in Craigavon how songs that suit Tuesdays call out to him.
"Sean!" says Mary in Craigavon, "I love the programme, but just out of curiosity, how do you know what day a song qualifies for each day?"
"It just calls out to you, Mary," Sean says. He's just been playing Bobby Darin's song, More. He says it's perfect.
"I can only think of one song that fits," says Mary. "It's Ruby Tuesday by The Rolling Stones."
"Well it doesn't have to be a Tuesday or a Wednesday or a Friday in the title," Sean says. "For example, Monday, Monday by the Mamas & the Papas is a good Thursday song. Songs just call out the day of the week to you. Listen to this one, Mary. This is Down On The Corner by Creedence Clearwater Revival. And to me it just yells at me, 'Play me! It's Tuesday! Play me!'"
With music from Dusty Springfield, Love Affair, Charlie Rich, and Creedence Clearwater Revival.
