The A5 inquiry has heard moving testimonies from relatives of people who have been killed on the road. Campaigners for a new dual carriageway have described the existing road between Derry and the border at Aughnacloy as the most dangerous in Ireland. Since the scheme was approved in 2007, 47 people have been killed.
