Brothers Popal and Darmal are refugees from Afghanistan. Forced to live apart for several years, they have finally been reunited in Denmark where Popal has been granted asylum. When Darmal's claim is rejected, the brothers' dreams of a future together are thrown into chaos. This intimate film follows their efforts to stay together, with the help of a priest, his wife and a human rights lawyer.
