鈥淚 have pinned a note of the Bert Whoriskey鈥檚 Wartime programme on the fridge,鈥� says Iris in Ballyclare. 鈥淢y Daddy was in the two world wars, and I will listen to every second of it!鈥�

鈥淏ert Whoriskey鈥檚 Wartime is a special Coyle & Co programme for Christmas,鈥� Sean says. 鈥淏ert Whoriskey is the gentleman I interviewed, and the show is about his memories of the Second World War. He lived in Lisahally. He remembers how it changed from a sleepy little village to having soldiers, navy men, and boats coming in to dock, and how exciting it was when he was a little boy though he didn鈥檛 understand the seriousness of it all.鈥�

鈥淚 enjoyed the interview,鈥� says the Bready Bandit. 鈥淵ou should do more of those special Coyle & Co programmes, and maybe give the Joe Dolan records a bit of a rest!鈥�
